We are Jack & Beth Ramsey, Texans with family roots in New Mexico. We have always loved having family and friends over for cook-outs in warm weather and for big pots of chili in cooler weather. It's taken time, but finally,after many requests to share our recipes, we've given in and created Texas Choice to bring all our favorites to you. NEW MEXICO FLAVOR Jack’s father grew up in New Mexico and always offered that special touch to family cook-outs. Jack has watched closely as his favorite meals were prepared and has worked on perfecting his own recipes for years. Finally, he has them just right! CLASSIC TEXAS BARBECUE Beth’s parents owned a drive-in grocery store in Waco, TX where her mother prepared barbecue chicken and sausage. Folks would come from all over the area to buy her delicious barbecue. It took us 20 years but we've gotten her to share her recipe and have tweaked it into the perfect mouthwatering rub for chicken. GIVING BACK We decided before starting Texas Choice, that we wanted to share whatever our earnings might be with some of the charitable organizations we have worked with or know to be organizations that make positive contributions to society. As volunteers for several groups, we know every dollar counts and look forward to the contributions Texas Choice will be providing. 10% of our profit will be given to charitable organizations.
